How to Get to Chetumal

Chetumal has an international airport with direct flights from several cities in Mexico. It is also accessible by road via Federal Highway 307, which connects with Cancun and the Riviera Maya.

Several bus companies operate daily services to Chetumal. The ADO company offers services from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and other cities.

Traveling to Belize

From Chetumal, you can travel by bus or coach to the border town of Subteniente López. Here, you will complete immigration procedures to exit Mexico and then enter the Belizean town of Santa Elena, where the entry formalities for Belize are completed.

Mahahual

Mahahual is a beach on the Mexican Caribbean that attracts more visitors each year due to its white sand and turquoise waters, perfect for snorkeling and diving.
