Passport and Visas to Travel to Mexico
Mexico is a tourist-friendly country. Many nations do not require a visa to enter Mexican territory. People from countries that do require a visa can approach Mexican embassies and consulates where they will be guided and can carry out the necessary procedures.
Entry to Mexico with a Passport
Citizens of countries with migration agreements with Mexico do not need a visa to enter Mexican territory, but they must present a passport that is valid for at least 6 months.
Countries That Need a Visa to Enter Mexico
Important: Foreigners who hold a valid visa from the United States of America or who are permanent legal residents of the USA, Canada, Japan, the United Kingdom, and Schengen Area countries may enter Mexico without the need for a visa.
