Visitors from around the world come to this city, located on the Pacific Ocean in Oaxaca, covering an area of 35 kilometers of coastline between the Copalita and Coyula Rivers. Huatulco is 230 kilometers from Oaxaca City and 750 kilometers from Mexico City.

Huatulco has an International Airport with daily flights from different cities in Mexico (flight time from Mexico City to Huatulco: 60 minutes).

Since 1998, Huatulco has been protected by the Huatulco Bays National Park (approximately 20,000 hectares), so some activities are regulated.

Huatulco has 35 beaches spread across 9 bays. Each beach has its own unique charm, and all are surrounded by natural environments.

The Huatulco Bays are: Cacaluta, Chahue, Tangolunda, Conejos, Santa Cruz, Chachacual, Riscalillo, San Agustín, Organo, and Maguey.
