San Luis Potosí is an ideal destination for vacation or weekend tourism. The city is the capital of the homonymous state and an important financial and industrial center in central Mexico. The metropolitan area has more than one million inhabitants. San Luis Potosí is located 363 km northwest of Mexico City.

Each day, more visitors arrive in San Luis Potosí. Its historic center is an architectural jewel, which is why it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.
